vanilla mousse

What's fancier than peaches 'n cream that will have your guests dying to know what you're serving?

What will turn a perfect glass of iced coffee into a delectable afternoon treat?

This is a cheater recipe if I've ever seen one. But your guests will never know. I'm almost embarrassed to share it, until I taste it and I'm struck by the fact that everyone in the world should know about this stuff. Nevermind that my hips would be better off if I could only forget about it.


1 large box instant vanilla pudding mix
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 cup milk

1. Pour whipping cream into chilled bowl and beat until frothy and thick, but no peaks form yet.
2. Add milk and pudding mix.
3. Beat until set.
4. Serve immediately, or cover tightly with plastic wrap and chill for up to 3 days.
