peanut butter brownies

Print Friendly and PDF
So simple - a mere handful of ingredients & the perfect balance of rich chocolate brownies and peanut butter. The smooth yet cripsy glaze makes indulgent chocolate even more decadent. Fair warning, though: these things are so super rich that even I can't eat the whole pan in one night (or even one end of the pan), so make these to share.

2 boxes brownie mix (preferably Ghiradelli)
water, oil, and eggs according to box directions
6 oz white chocolate chips
1 cup crunchy peanut butter

1. Bake brownies according to package directions, combining both mixes into one 13x9 baking pan.
2. Remove brownies from oven and immediately start on glaze.
3. For glaze, melt white chocolate chips over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat when melted.
4. Add 1 cup peanut butter to melted chocolate and stir to melt/mix peanut butter.
5. Pour over hot brownies.

Can be served warm for a gooey version, or allowed to cool for a set brownie and slightly crispy glaze. Either way, enjoy the perfection!

  1. I was one gifted with the "make these to share" part of her batch and I can attest to the fact that they are brownie/PB perfection
